MESSAGING MESSAGING SHORTCUT From standby mode, pressing the Left Soft Key is a shortcut to MESSAGING. Text messages, Picture messages, and the Voicemail box become available as soon as the phone is powered on. G Check types of messages by pressing the Left Soft Key [Message]. G Make a call to the callback number (in Inbox) by pressing while checking messages. Depending on the content and size of your messages, the phone can store well over 540 messages (including a maximum of 200 SMS and 100 MMS messages). The information stored in the message is determined by phone model and service capability. Other limits to available characters per message may exist. Please check with your service provider for system features and capabilities. New Message Alert Your phone will alert you when you have new messages. 1. The phone displays a message on the screen. 2. The message icon ( ) is displayed on the display screen. In the case of a high priority message, the icon( ) will be displayed. Viewing TXT Messages on the Front LCD Screen When you receive a TXT message, you can view it on the front LCD screen without opening the flip. 1. Press the Play/Pause Key to unlock the External Keyguard. 2. Press the Play/Pause Key [VIEW] to open and view the TXT message. 3. Press the Fast-Forward Key to scroll through any text not displayed on screen, then press the Play/Pause Key [OK] to exit the message. 1. New Message Allows you to send messages (Text, Picture, Video, and Voice). Each message needs a destination (Address) and information (Message).
