Accessing shares 1. Install and run LaCie Network Assistant, located on the LaCie Utilities CD-ROM. 2. Click the LaCie Network Assistant icon (in the system tray for Windows and in the menu bar for Mac) and select the share you want to access. Your LaCie Network Space 2 has three shares by default: Name Accessibility Login Availability OpenShare Public, accessible to any None user on the network When connected to the network (Ethernet) MyShare Private, accessible to the Required (by default: When connected to administrator login = admin the network (Ethernet) password = admin) USBShare Public None When connected to the network (Ethernet) or to a computer (USB) Note: If the drive is connected to your computer via USB, you won't be able to access OpenShare or MyShare (only USBShare) through your computer. ! Important: Connect either the USB cable OR the Ethernet cable, but never both at the same time.

Accessing shares
