Unable to contact device, verify link is up. Meaning: In Windows 10, there is a known issue with the Intel Device Manager. VLANs created by the Device Manager do not pass traffic. Nothing in the EPC Utility can fix this issue. The EPC Utility manages the switch chip on the PoE NIC through the Intel i210 chip. Recovery: 1. Run the EPC Utility before enabling any host VLANs on the NIC. In this scenario, everything works as expected. 2. Check for updated firmware; a fix should be available in a future release. 3. For Windows 7 check the Intel website.
