Screw the hard disk drive back to the chassis.
10. Install the computer cover and screw back the computer stand.
Replacing the optical drive
To replace the optical drive
1.
Remove the computer stand. Refer to “Removing the computer stand”.
2.
Remove the computer cover. Refer to “Removing the computer cover”.
3.
Remove the screw that secures the optical drive to the chassis.
4.
Disconnect the data and power cables from the optical drive.
5.
Slide the optical drive out of the drive bay.
6.
Pull the edge of the optical drive cover upward then separate the
optical drive from the cover.
7.
Remove the 2 screws that secure the optical drive to the metal bracket.
