Turn off the computer; then disconnect the ac power adapter and all cables from the computer. Wait three to five minutes to let the computer cool. 2. If two memory modules are already in the memory slots, press out on the latches on both edges of the socket at the same time 1 , and then remove a memory module to make room for the new one. Attention: To avoid damaging the memory module, do not touch its contact edge. 7.
