Replacing the solid state drive To replace the solid state drive: 1. Remove the computer cover. Refer to "Removing the computer cover". Note: For this procedure, it helps to lay the computer on its side. 2. Disconnect the data and power cables from the solid state drive. 3. Remove the four screws that secure the solid state drive assembly to drive bay. 4. Pull the solid state drive assembly out of the drive bay. 5. Remove the four screws that secure the solid state drive to the adapter bracket. 6. Secure the new solid state drive to the adapter bracket with the four screws. 7. Slide the solid state drive assembly into the drive bay. 8. Secure the solid state drive assembly to the drive bay with the four screws. 9. Connect the power and data cables to the solid state drive. 10. Refer to "Completing the installation". 42 User Guide

Replacing the solid state drive
To replace the solid state drive:
1.
Remove the computer cover. Refer to “Removing the computer cover”.
Note:
For this procedure, it helps to lay the computer on its side.
2.
Disconnect the data and power cables from the solid state drive.
3.
Remove the four screws that secure the solid state drive assembly to drive bay.
4.
Pull the solid state drive assembly out of the drive bay.
5.
Remove the four screws that secure the solid state drive to the adapter
bracket.
6.
Secure the new solid state drive to the adapter bracket with the four screws.
7.
Slide the solid state drive assembly into the drive bay.
8.
Secure the solid state drive assembly to the drive bay with the four screws.
9.
Connect the power and data cables to the solid state drive.
