Slide the I/O assembly out of the chassis. Step 9. To remove the USB bracket, lever up the bracket's four pins with a screwdriver, then pull the front 1 1 2 I/O board out of the bracket. Step 10. To install the new front I/O board: a. Push the new front I/O board into the bracket, then press down the four clips until they lock into place. b. Step 6.
Disconnect the data cables from the connectors on the motherboard.
Step 7.
Remove the screw that secures the front I/O assembly to the chassis.
Step 8.
Slide the I/O assembly out of the chassis.
Step 9.
To remove the USB bracket, lever up the bracket’s four pins with a screwdriver, then pull the front
I/O board out of the bracket.
Step 10. To install the new front I/O board:
a.
Push the new front I/O board into the bracket, then press down the four clips until they lock
into place.
b.
Slide the front I/O assembly in and secure it with the screw.
c.
Connect the data cables to the motherboard.
Step 11. Reattach the front bezel, then reattach the computer cover.
