Title: C79EPMST CreationDate: 06/22/98 12:00:09 Replacing the Battery Pack Replacing the Battery Pack To replace the battery pack, do as follows: Note the following restrictions on the battery pack: 1. You cannot use the battery pack with the ThinkPad 380, 380D, 385D, 380E, 380ED, or 385ED computer. 2. You cannot use the battery pack with a non-Intel Pentium II model of the ThinkPad 380XD or 385XD computer. 3. You cannot use the ThinkPad 380/385 battery option (part number 73H9793) for your computer. You can replace the battery when the computer is in hibernation mode. (You cannot replace it when the computer is in suspend mode.) If you are using a PC Card, however, the computer might not be able to enter hibernation mode.
