1. Command Mode: Configure mode Logon to Configure Mode (Configure Terminal Mode). The switch_a(config)# prompt will show on the screen. switch_a(config)# 2. Usage: Use this command to set the interval when the configuration would be automatically saved. The range of interval value is from 5 to 65535. And the default value is 30 seconds. 3. Command Syntax: service auto-config interval WORD WORD specifies the interval value. 4. Example: The following example sets the interval WORD (10) when the configuration would be automatically saved to switch: switch_a(config)#service auto-config interval 10 switch_a(config)# Firmware Upgrade 1. Example: The following example specifies upgrading firmware (file name: flash.tgz) from tftp server (IP address: 192.168.1.100) to switch: switch_a#install image 192.168.1.100 flash.tgz switch_a# Please follow the message on the screen during the firmware upgrade process.
