THE

USB

CONNECTION

Check the USB cable for any obvious damage. If the cable is damaged, use a new one.

Firmly plug the square end of the USB cable into the back of the printer.

Firmly plug the rectangular end of the USB cable into the USB port of the computer.

The USB port is marked with the

USB symbol.

Disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet.

Gently remove the power supply from the printer.

Reconnect the power supply to the printer.

Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.

Removing and reinstalling the software

If the printer is not functioning properly, or if a communications error message appears when you try to

use the printer, then you may need to remove and reinstall the printer software.

Using Windows

software.

If the install screen does not appear automatically after you restart your computer, do one of the
