Configuring Device Security Defining Authentication 4 Modifying an Authentication Profile STEP 1 Click Security Suite > Authentication > Profiles. The Profiles Page opens: STEP 2 Click the Edit Button. The Edit Authentication Profile Page opens: Edit Authentication Profile Page The Edit Authentication Profile Page contains the following fields: • Profile Name - Displays the Authentication profile name. • Authentication Methods - Defines the user authentication methods. The possible field values are: - Local - Authenticates the user at the device level. The device checks the user name and password for authentication. - RADIUS - Authenticates the user at the RADIUS server. - TACACS+ - Authenticates the user at the TACACS+ server. - None - Indicates that no authentication method is used to authenticate the device.
