MS-6702 ATX Mainboard Port Mode This item selects the operation mode for the onboard parallel port: ECP, Normal, Bi-Dir or EPP. EPP Version The item selects the EPP version used by the parallel port if the port is set to EPP mode. Settings: 1.7, 1.9. Port IRQ When OnBoard Parallel Port is set to Auto, the item shows Auto indicating that BIOS determines the IRQ for the parallel port automatically. Port DMA This feature needs to be configured only when Parallel Port Mode is set to the ECP mode. When Parallel Port is set to Auto, the field will show Auto indicating that BIOS automatically determines the DMA channel for the parallel port. USB Controller This setting is used to enable/disable the onboard USB ports. Setting options: Disabled, 2 USB Ports, 4 USB Ports, 6 USB Ports USB Device Legacy Support Set to All Device if you need to use any USB device in the operating system that does not support or have any USB driver installed, such as DOS and SCO Unix. Set to No Mice only if you want to use any USB device other than the USB mouse. USB 1.1 Port 64/60 Emulation This field controls the USB Port 64/60 Emulation function. When the function is enabled, the USB keyboard is allowed to type some special combination keys. Setting options: Disabled, Enabled. 3-22
