MS-9A19 1 Serial Port The serial port is a 16550A high speed communications port that sends/ receives 16 bytes FIFOs. You can attach a serial mouse or other serial devices directly to the connector. 2 Power Button/LED Press the power button to turn the system on or off. The power LED glows when the system is turned on and goes off when the system is shut down. In terms of power saving, the LED glows in S0 mode, blinks in S1 mode, and goes off in S3/S4 mode. Pressing the power button will wake the system up from power saving mode. 3 USB Port The USB (Universal Serial Bus) port is for attaching USB devices such as keyboard, mouse, or other USB-compatible devices. 4 Serial Port The serial port is a 16550A high speed communications port that sends/ receives 16 bytes FIFOs. You can attach a serial mouse or other serial devices directly to the connector. 5 DVI-I Port The DVI-I (Digital Visual Interface-Integrated) connector allows you to connect an LCD monitor. To connect an LCD monitor, simply plug your monitor cable into the DVI connector, and make sure that the other end of the cable is properly connected to your monitor (refer to your monitor manual for more information.) 6 Gigabit LAN Jack The standard RJ-45 LAN jack is for connection to the Local Area Network (LAN). You can connect a network cable to it. 7 USB Port The USB (Universal Serial Bus) port is for attaching USB devices such as keyboard, mouse, or other USB-compatible devices. 8 Power Jack The power adapter converts AC power to DC power for this jack. Power supplied through this jack supplies power to the system. To prevent damage to the system, always use the supplied power adapter. 1-5
