Starting up your radio Before using for the first time, charge the radio for fully portable play, by plugging the USB-C cable into the DC-IN 5V 1A port and connect to USB-plug placed in mainspower supply, or charge from power-bank or other USB-C power device. Press and hold the 'Power' (Ref.7) button to turn on radio to Standby, and screen will display battery charging. Once display shows fully charged, you can remove the radio from the USB-C power and fully turn on radio. Alternatively, you can continue to keep connected to USB-C power. Ensure the radio is positioned where you have a good radio signal, making sure the antenna (Ref.16) is extended in full, so you can get the best possible signal. Press the 'Power' (Ref.7) button to fully turn-on radio. From the 'Welcome to Digital Radio' screen, you will be required to select your chosen radio language. Select 'Mode' (Ref.9) to switch in between DAB, FM and Bluetooth. Note: When DAB Mode is activated for the first time, a scan will automatically commence, or will play the last station before the unit is turned off. Standby To change your radio back to standby, press the 'Power' (Ref.7) button. To turn your radio off completely, press and hold the 'Power' (Ref.7) button. 5

Basic Operation

Starting up your radio
Before using for the first time, charge the radio for fully portable play, by plugging the
USB-C cable into the DC-IN 5V 1A port and connect to USB-plug placed in mains-
power supply, or charge from power-bank or other USB-C power device.
Press and hold the ‘Power
’ (Ref.7)
button to turn on radio to Standby, and screen will
display battery charging.
Once display shows fully charged, you can remove the radio from the USB-C power
and fully turn on radio. Alternatively, you can continue to keep connected to USB-C
power.
Ensure the radio is positioned where you have a good radio signal, making sure the
antenna
(Ref.16)
is extended in full, so you can get the best possible signal.
Press the ‘Power’
(Ref.7)
button to fully turn-on radio.
From the ‘Welcome to Digital Radio’ screen, you will be required to select your chosen
radio language.
Select ‘Mode’
(Ref.9)
to switch in between DAB, FM and Bluetooth.

Standby
To change your radio back to standby, press the ‘Power’
