Contents Connections Playback High performance • Digital Input (Coaxial, Optical) This unit has a digital input terminal that allows input of digital audio from external devices such as televisions. The digital-to-analog converter is an important factor in the sound quality of digital audio input. The Marantz Super Audio CD player uses the Cirrus Logic CS4398, which has an excellent reputation for high precision. • Tone control function This unit has a tone control function for adjustment of bass (low frequency) and treble (high frequency) sound to produce your preferred tone (vpage 25). • LOUDNESS function This unit is provided with a LOUDNESS function that makes it easier to hear music played back at a low volume level (vpage 26).
