UD5005 Networking Universal Disc Player The Marantz UD5005 Networking Universal Disc Player is 3D Ready and offers extraordinary flexibility with the ability to play audio and video content not just from discs, but also as a digital stream from your home network and from the internet. At the core of the UD5005 is an advanced, quick-loading transport mechanism capable of playing nearly every type of audio and video disc ever created. A robust video processing engine boasts 10-bit performance, motion adaptive de-interlacing, and a 12-bit/148.5 MHz video decoder for vivid, noise free image reproduction. The HDMI 1.4a audio/video connection standard is fully supported insuring the best possible result with today's high performance display devices while 24-bit/192kHz audio decoders and custom analog output stages deliver the depth and immediacy music lovers have long associated with the Marantz brand. The UD5005 is DLNA 1.5 certified and features an on-board media player for streaming both audio and video content: stream MP3, WAV, Windows Media Audio and AAC digital audio files and MPG, Divx, and MPEG4/H.264 digital video files, all from your local network; or connect to the internet and enjoy the best of YouTube and Netflix. A USB connection is conveniently located on the frontpanel making it easy for friends to share their audio and video content through your system.
