The VP-8000 is compatible with ,P1,00 virtually any video program source, featuring component video, S-video and composite video connections as well as an RGB computer input. VP-8000 Features: Advanced Texas Instruments-developed DLP" (Digital Light Processing) technology produces images with high resolution and brightness, and a 500:1 contrast ratio, with exceptional gray scale and color accuracy. DTV/HDTV compatible - the VP-8000 can display up to 1080i formats. Multiple aspect ratio control includes 4:3 standard, 16:9 widescreen and 16:9 anamorphic "unsqueezed" modes. The VP-8000's digitally controlled aspect ratio control turns off image-producing pixels in the letterbox border area, for a true black picture border with no light spillover on the edges of the screen. Component, S-Video, composite and RGB inputs allow use with virtually any video signal source.
