INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS Tools and Parts Gather the recommended tools and parts before starting installation. Read and follow the instructions provided with any tools listed here. All Installations Tools needed: Pliers Flat-blade screwdriver Phillips screwdriver 5/16" and 1/4" nut drivers or hex sockets Measuring tape or ruler 10" adjustable wrench that opens to 1 1/8" (2.9 cm) Utility knife UL listed or CSA approved twist-on wire connectors* Small level 5/8" open-end wrench Hammer Sand paper *Must be the proper size to connect your household wiring to 16-gauge wiring in dishwasher Other useful items you may need: Flashlight Bath towel Shallow pan Wood block Parts supplied: 2 - Drain hose clamps (1 large and 1 small) Drain hose 2 - #10 x 1/2" Phillips-head screws Silver Green Make sure all these parts are included in the literature package. Parts needed: 90° Elbow fitting with 3/8" N.P.T. external threads (the other end must fit your water supply line) Teflon® tape or pipe joint compound Other parts you may also need: 1 1/2" -2" (38.1-5.0 cm) Screw-typ e clamps (3 max) Masking or duct tape NOTE: Parts available for purchase in plumbing supply stores. Check local codes. Check existing electrical supply. See "Electrical Requirements" section. It is recommended that electrical connections be made by a licensed electrical installer.
