Option 3, Dishwasher with Plastic Tub Side Attachment (for marble, granite or other hard surface countertops) Order Mounting Bracket Kit Part Number 8212560. Move Dishwasher into Cabinet Opening 1 Stand dishwasher upright 4 Open and close door Using two or more people, stand dishwasher upright. NOTE: Do not install kickplate until instructed to do so. 2 Move dishwasher close to cabinet opening With another person holding the dishwasher to keep it from tipping, open and close the door a few times. If the door closes or falls open under its own weight, the door tension will need to be adjusted. 5 Closes too quickly- Decrease spring tension Water line Direct Wire Only Drain hose Cable IMPORTANT: Double-check correct placement of utilities. Grasp the sides of the dishwasher at the edges of the door panel. Tilt dishwasher backward on wheels and move dishwasher close to cabinet opening. NOTE: Do not push on the front of the panel or on the console- they may dent. Helpful Tip: Temporarily tape utilities to the floor in the locations shown to keep them from moving when dishwasher is moved into the cabinet opening. 3 Check water and drain hose position If the door closes too quickly, decrease the spring tension by moving the spring end toward the front of the dishwasher. NOTE: Springs should be in the same notches on left and right sides. 6 Door falls open- Increase spring tension Check that water line is on the left side of opening and drain hose is near the center of the cabinet opening. 14
