QUICK START GUIDE NOTE: This Use and Care Guide covers several different models. Your dryer may not have all of the cycles and features described. This Use and Care Guide covers several different models. Your dryer may not have all of the cycles and features described. START 1. Clean the lint screen before each load. 2. Place laundry in dryer and shut door. 3. Press POWER/CANCEL. 4. Select Cycle. 5. Select OPTIONS and/or END SIGNAL, if desired. See "Additional Features." 6. Press START/PAUSE to begin. SENSOR CYCLES Sensor Cycles match the cycle setting to the type of load, and adjust Dryness Level for optimal performance. See the "Sensor Preset Cycle Settings." chart. 1. Press POWER/CANCEL. 2. Turn knob to desired Sensor Cycle. 3. Select DRYNESS LEVEL to adjust how dry you want the load. 4. Select OPTIONS. 5. Press START/PAUSE. To make changes to the Dryness and/or Options during an Automatic Cycle: 1. Press START/PAUSE. 2. Select DRYNESS LEVEL. NOTE: Dryness selections can be made only while using Sensor Cycles. 3. Press START/PAUSE. STOPPING, PAUSING, OR RESTARTING To stop or pause your dryer at any time Open the door or press START/PAUSE. Press POWER/CANCEL to cancel a cycle. To restart the dryer Close the door. Press START/PAUSE until dryer starts. TIMED CYCLES Use Timed cycles to set a drying time and temperature. 1. Press POWER/CANCEL. 2. Turn knob to desired Timed Cycle. 3. Press TIME ADJUST + (plus) or - (minus) buttons until the desired drying time is displayed. 4. Press TEMP LEVEL until the desired temperature illuminates. NOTE: During the Timed Cycle, you can change the settings for Time, Temp, the WRINKLE PREVENT setting, and the End Signal. 5. Press START/PAUSE. TIMED DRY - Use this cycle if items are still damp after a Sensor cycle. RAPID DRY - Use this cycle for drying small loads or items requiring a short drying time. FRESHEN UP (on some models) - Use this cycle to help smooth out wrinkles. USING STEAM CYCLES (Steam models only) Steam Cycles use water and heat to reduce wrinkles and odors in dry items. See the Cycles information on the following pages for more detail on each cycle. 1. Press POWER/CANCEL. 2. Select CUSTOM REFRESH or RAPID REFRESH cycle. 3. Press TIME ADJUST + (plus) or - (minus) buttons until the desired drying time is displayed for Custom Refresh cycle. 4. Press TEMP LEVEL until the desired temperature illuminates. 5. Press START/PAUSE. 5
