Additional Features To unlock: Press and hold the CYCLE SIGNAL button for 3 seconds to turn this feature off. NOTE: When the dryer is running and Lock/Unlock control is on, the dryer can be stopped by pressing the START/PAUSE button, but cannot be restarted until the control is unlocked. temperatures dryness level cycle signal Changing Cycles and Settings You can change Auto Cycles, Timed Cycles, and the drying temperature on Timed Cycles at any time before pressing Start/ Pause. ■■ Three short tones sound if an unavailable combination is selected. The last selection will not be accepted. Estimated Time Remaining Moisture sensing strips in the dryer measure the amount of moisture in the clothes. The estimated time display may adjust to show a more accurate drying time. WRINKLE PREVENT Feature When you are unable to remove a load of clothes from the dryer as soon as it stops, wrinkles can form. The WRINKLE PREVENT feature periodically tumbles, rearranges, and fluffs the load to help keep wrinkles from forming. ■■ Get up to 60 minutes of heat-free, periodic tumbling at the end of a cycle. Press the WRINKLE PREVENT button to turn ON or OFF at any time before the cycle has ended. ■■ The WRINKLE PREVENT feature is preset to "OFF." If selected for other cycles, the WRINKLE PREVENT feature setting will remain "ON" the next time that cycle is selected. Cycle Signal The Cycle Signal produces an audible sound when the drying cycle is finished. Press the CYCLE SIGNAL button to turn On or Off at any time before the cycle has ended. NOTE: When the WRINKLE PREVENT feature is selected and the Cycle Signal is on, an audible sound will be emitted every 20 minutes until the clothes are removed, or the WRINKLE PREVENT feature is finished. Lock/Unlock Controls This feature allows you to lock your settings to avoid unintended use of the dryer. You can also use the Lock/Unlock Controls feature to avoid unintended cycle or option changes during dryer operation. To enable the Lock/Unlock Controls feature when dryer is running: Press and hold the CYCLE SIGNAL button for 3 seconds. The control is locked when a single beep is heard and the Lock/Unlock Controls status light is on. To enable the Lock/Unlock Controls feature when dryer is OFF: When the dryer is off, it is not necessary to press the POWER/CANCEL button before activating the Lock/Unlock Controls feature. Changing Cycles after starting dryer 1. Press the POWER/CANCEL button. This ends the current cycle and turns the dryer OFF. 2. Press the POWER/CANCEL button again to turn on the dryer. 3. Select the desired cycle and options. 4. Press and hold START/PAUSE. The dryer starts at the beginning of the new cycle. Changing settings on Timed Cycles during the cycle You can change the temperature setting at any time during the cycle by pressing the TEMPERATURES button. Status Lights Follow the progress of your dryer with the drying Status indicator lights. Wet The Wet light illuminates at the beginning of an Auto Cycles if a wet item is detected. ■■ In an Auto Cycle, if a wet item is not detected after approximately 5 minutes, the dryer goes directly into Cool Down and the Cool Down and Wrinkle Prevent indicators illuminate, if selected. ■■ In a Timed Dry Cycle, wet items are not detected. The dryer will continue to run for the length of time selected, and the Wet light will illuminate. The damp light will not illuminate. Damp The Damp light illuminates in an Auto Cycle when the laundry is approximately 80% dry. Cool Down The Cool Down light illuminates during the cool down part of the cycle. Laundry cools for ease in handling. Done The Done light illuminates when the drying cycle is finished. This indicator stays on during Wrinkle Prevent Wrinkle Prevent The Wrinkle Prevent light illuminates when this option is selected. This indicator stays on during the Wrinkle Prevent setting. Clean Lint Screen The Clean Lint Screen light is a reminder to check and clean the lint screen. The Clean Lint Screen light will come on when the machine is turned on. The light will flash until the cycle is started or the door is opened, and then the light will turn off. 7
