Using the Dispenser To use the dispenser drawer: 1. Open the dispenser drawer. 2. Add laundry products as described in steps 3-6. 3. Slowly close the dispenser drawer. Make sure it is completely closed. NOTE: A small amount of water may remain in the dispensers from the previous wash cycle. This is normal. 3. A dd HE detergent to dispenser Models with a 4-compartment dispenser Models with a 3-compartment dispenser HE detergent compartment Pour a measured amount of HE detergent into detergent compartment. For powdered detergent, slide the selector to the left. For liquid detergent, slide the selector to the right. Do not overfill; adding too much detergent may cause detergent to be dispensed into the washer too early. Use only High Efficiency (HE) detergent. HE detergent compartment Pour a measured amount of HE detergent into detergent compartment. For powdered detergent, slide the selector to the left. For liquid detergent, slide the selector to the right. Do not overfill; adding too much detergent may cause detergent to be dispensed into the washer too early. Use only High Efficiency (HE) detergent. Powdered detergent: Slide the selector to the left. Liquid detergent: Slide the selector to the right. IMPORTANT: Use powdered detergent when using the Delay Wash option. Liquid detergent may seep out before the wash begins. Powdered detergent: Slide the selector to the left. Liquid detergent: Slide the selector to the right. If you would like to use powdered or liquid oxi-type boosters or color-safe bleach, follow the manufacturer's recommendations for placement. If no recommendation is available, you may add powdered or liquid oxi-type boosters or color-safe bleach to the detergent compartment with the same type of detergent, powdered or liquid. IMPORTANT: Use powdered detergent when using the Delay Wash option. Liquid detergent may seep out before the wash begins. 9
