USE OF WASHER TRAYS IMPORTANT: When using a washer tray underneath your washer (see Figure 1), it is important to adjust the leveling feet out enough so that any moving parts on the bottom of the washer do not touch the tray. Begin by turning the leveling feet out (counterclockwise rotation) two complete turns (720 degrees) and then follow the INSPECTION PROCEDURE below to verify that this is sufficient. INSPECTION PROCEDURE: Verify that the washer is level. To confirm that the clearance is adequate for large loads, it is suggested to run the Bulky/Sheets, Bedding, or Bulky/Bedding cycle (depending on model) to fill the tub with water. When full of water, the tub will drop lower in the washer cabinet. Once tub fill is complete, press the START/PAUSE button to pause the cycle. When the lid unlocks, you will be able to open it. This will allow you to rock the tub side-to-side by pushing against the plastic tub top visible just beneath the top of the washer (see Figure 2). Listen for any indication of the washer rubbing on the tray. If you hear any rubbing sound, you will need to drain the tub of water (press the POWER button to drain the tub and turn off the washer). Once the tub is drained, you will need to adjust the leveling feet out more (counterclockwise rotation) until there is sufficient clearance when the tub is full of water. Repeat the procedure above to fill the tub with water, pause the washer, open the lid, and again rock the tub side-to-side to listen for any indication of the washer rubbing on the tray. When no rubbing sound is heard, the leveling feet are adjusted out sufficiently. When the leveling foot adjustment check is complete, drain the water from the tub and turn off the washer by pressing the POWER button. Figure 1 Figure 2 W10854698A © 2016. All rights reserved. 01/16
