CD/VCD BASIC OPERATION (CONTINUED) FORWARD‹‹/REVERSE ¦¦¤ REPEAT ONE/ALL PLAY 1 1 1 1 2 1 2 Each press of the SEARCH ‹‹ or ¦¦¤button ‚ will increase the search as follows: 1st press: x 2 2nd press: x 4 3rd press: x 8 4th press: x 20 5th press: Resume Normal Playback Press the PLAY (‹) button ƒ to resume normal playback. To Repeat play a track, simply select the track as described on the previous page, then press the REPEAT button ‚ twice; "REP 1"; will appear on the TV screen and the unit will repeat the selected track continuously until the STOP (I) button ƒ is pressed. To Repeat play all tracks on a CD, press the REPEAT button ‚ a third time; "REP ALL" will appear on the TV screen and the unit will repeat the CD continuously until the STOP (I) button ƒ is pressed. To cancel Repeat play, press the REPEAT button ‚ until "REP OFF" appears on the TV screen. IMPORTANT NOTE ON VCD REPEAT PLAYBACK: PBC must be Off to use repeat/random playback with VCDs. Please refer to page 31 to turn PBC ON or OFF. REPEAT A-B PLAY 1 RANDOM PLAYBACK 1 1 2 While playing back a CD, this unit can repeatedly play back a specific section. While in the Playback mode, press the Repeat A-B button to define where you want the section to start. Press the Repeat A-B button again to define where you would like the section to end, the unit will then play the selected area continuously. While in the Play mode, press the RANDOM button 1 twice and "RANDOM" will appear on the TV screen; the track will randomly play all the tracks on the CD until all the tracks have been played or the STOP (I) button 2 is pressed. To cancel Random or Shuffle, press the RANDOM button 1 until "RANDOM OFF" appears on the TV screen. Press the A-B button again to cancel Repeat A-B Repeat mode. 30
