Frequently Asked Questions With the help of the following guide minor faults in the performance of the machine, some of which may result from incorrect operation, can be remedied without contacting the Service Department. This guide may help you to find the reason for the fault, and how to correct it. To prevent cold from escaping, open the appliance doors as little as possible until the fault has been corrected. Problem Possible cause and solution If you are concerned that your appliance is not working properly, you can perform a Self Test. Your appliance will be checked for any faults or malfunctions. Any errors identified during the Self Test are shown on the display.  Perform a Self Test (see "Additional settings", section "Performing a Self Test ").  Contact Technical Service and inform them of the error message(s) on the display. This guide may help you to find the reason for the fault, and how to correct it.
To prevent cold from escaping, open the appliance doors as little as possible un-
til the fault has been corrected.
