Event Log The Event Log saves and presents a history of all events that have been recorded by your Motorola homesight (TM) Software. The Event Log provides a simple way for you to review all device activity that has taken place during unattended operation of the Motorola homesight (TM) Software. The Event Log is also useful for helping to diagnose problems with the system. An event is recorded whenever an action (such as one of the following) occurs: • Sensor is triggered • Sensor is armed or disarmed • Camera captures an image • Camera captures a video clip • Device is added or removed • Device reports an error condition • Motorola homesight is started or stopped Each event listed in the log includes the following information: • Event date and time • A description of the event Events are displayed in "last-in, first-out" order, where the most recent event is shown at the top of the list, and the oldest event is shown at the bottom of the list. If the Event Log holds more events than can fit on a single screen, scroll bars will appear so that you can scroll any part of the log into view. 75 Motorola homesight™ USER GUIDE

Event Log
provides a simple way
for you to review all device activity that has taken place during unattended operation of the Motorola homesight

Software. The
Event Log
is also useful for
helping to diagnose problems with the system.
An event is recorded whenever an action (such as one of the following) occurs:
Sensor is triggered
Sensor is armed or disarmed
Camera captures an image
Camera captures a video clip
Device is added or removed
Device reports an error condition
Motorola
homesight
is started or stopped
Each event listed in the log includes the following information:
Event date and time
A description of the event
Events are displayed in "last-in, first-out" order, where the most recent event is shown at the top of the list, and the oldest event is shown at the bottom of the list.
If the
Event Log
holds more events than can fit on a single screen, scroll bars will appear so that you can scroll any part of the log into view.
