Using the Answering System Your telephone's integrated answering system uses audible prompts to provide access to the system's features and help you set up the device. MD7260 User Guide In order to access the answering machine features and change the settings, you must press the MENU button located on the base unit. When you press the MENU button, the display window on your base unit flashes a code to indicate the current feature.
