Using Your MP3 Music Player For information on using the MP3 player with the phone flip open, see the user guide for your phone. With your phone turned on & the flip closed: Activate MP3 Player Press & hold the smart key (on the side of the phone) for 4-5 seconds. The touch sensor buttons light up & the first song on your list is played. Adjust Volume Press the volume key (on the side of the phone) up or down. Increase/ decrease volume. Activate player/ lock player. Touch Sensor Buttons: Skip forward. Play/Pause Skip back. MP3 Player Controls Pause/Play Fast Forward Skip to next song Rewind Press & release y Press & hold z (for at least 2 seconds) Press & release z Press & hold x (for at least 2 seconds) Skip back to previous song Press & release x Lock Player When the music player is active, lock the controls by pressing & holding the smart key (on the side of the phone) for 2 seconds. The lock symbol u appears at the lower left of the display. Press & hold the smart key again to unlock the player. Wake Up Player The backlight on your phone's display turns off after a few seconds to conserve battery life. To wake up your phone, press any of the touch sensor controls. Turn Player Off Press & hold y (for at least 2 seconds). Play Music from Phone or Memory Card You can play music stored in phone memory or on an optional installed memory card. You can copy music to a memory card from a computer. See your phone's user guide for more information.
