Home screen & settings From the home screen, you can explore apps, check notifications, speak commands, and more. • Add a shortcut: Swipe up , tap and hold an app, then drag it to your home screen. • Settings: To change your Wi-Fi, display brightness, and more, swipe the status bar down twice. To open more settings, tap . • Share your phone: To add a guest user, swipe the status bar down twice and tap . Swipe down once for notifications or twice for profiles and settings. Search by typing or say "OK, Google." Touch and hold an empty spot to change widgets, wallpaper, and more. Swipe up to see all your apps. The Google Assistant Your phone has the Google Assistant built in. Ask it questions, and tell it to do things. The more you use it, the more useful it gets. It's your own personal Google, always ready to help. Just start with Ok Google. • "Wake me up at 7am." • "Play some jazz." • "What's the weather today?" Note: Software updates happen frequently. Your phone may look different. Photos Two back cameras provide clear, professional looking photos right in your hand. • Launch it: Even when your phone is asleep, open your camera with two twists of your wrist. • See it: Swipe left for your photo gallery. • Share it: View a photo or video from your gallery, then tap .
