talkgroup calls A group call is similar to a Push To Talk call, but is made to all members of a Talkgroup at once. Before you can make or receive group calls, a Talkgroup must be established. After the Talkgroup is established, you must join the Talkgroup. joining a talkgroup Your sales representative or your service provider establishes talkgroups for you and assigns each Talkgroup a Talkgroup number. You can choose a name for each of your Talkgroups when you create entries for them in Contacts. To receive group calls made to any of these Talkgroups, you must join the Talkgroup. 1 Press K under Contcs. or From the main menu, scroll to Contacts and press ;. 2 Scroll to the Talkgroup you want to join. 3 Press K under Join. Note: You can only monitor one Talkgroup at a time. making talkgroup calls 1 Press #.
