To support these findings in a soft copy reading environment, LCD displays need to comply with the highest visual requirements. Their image quality has a decisive influence on diagnostic accuracy. PRIMARY DIAGNOSIS MultiSync MD Series These high-end diagnostic displays ensure the highest level of image quality due to their high brightness, uniformity, contrast and full DICOM Part 14 compliance. These diagnostic displays are designed to operate efficiently as well. Most models feature an integrated front sensor to constantly monitor the brightness of the display. Additionally the MD212MC, MD213MC, MD211C2 and MD211C3 color displays incorporate a tri-stimulus front sensor, which automatically maintains the stability of the white point of the backlight for the usable life of the display, counteracting the natural aging of the product. The MD211C2 and MD211C3 feature an instant-on LED backlight and a human presence sensor to allow the display to conserve power when not in use.
