•• Users may customize their own info from the Users settings screen. Users may change their picture, their nickname, or add/change additional text to describe the user. To switch between users: •• The lock screen will display each user's image and nickname. Choose a user by tapping their image and then unlock the screen. Personal Location access Adjust the location services options of your tablet. Security Set screen lock: Depending how you use your tablet, you may want to set some form of automatic screen lock to prevent unauthorized access. If a screen lock has been set, the screen locks when your tablet's display goes to sleep. Select one of the screen lock types from the list and then follow the onscreen instructions to set the lock. The screen lock types are listed in approximate order of strength. •• Swipe provides no protection, but lets you get to the Home screen quickly, or open the Camera app to start taking pictures immediately. •• Voice Unlock uses the built-in microphone to check for the voice of an authorized user to unlock the tablet. Follow the instructions on screen to set it up. When Voice Unlock is enabled, you can simply say a passphrase to unlock your tablet. •• Pattern lets you draw a simple pattern with your finger to unlock the tablet. •• PIN requires four or more numbers. Hold the tablet in portrait mode, enter your pin, and then enter your PIN once more to confirm. •• Password requires four or more letters or numbers. Hold the tablet vertically, enter your password, and then enter your password once more to confirm. This is the most secure option, as long as you create a strong password.
