To view apps side by side:
1.
From an app screen, swipe down from the top edge
of the screen. Do not lift your finger; the running
app will become a thumbnail.
2.
Without lifting your finger, drag and drop the
thumbnail to the left or right side of the screen.
When
you release your finger, the app will take up
half the screen.
3.
Tap the other side of the screen. When you open an
app, it will take up the other half of the screen.
