Basic Functions Turning the Unit On and Off Bass Boost Turn the Bass Boost adjustment on to emphasize low frequency sound output. To turn the unit on, press the POWER button [2]. The power indicator [18] will light up. To turn the unit off, press the POWER button [2] again. Changing Function Modes Press the BASS key [11] to turn Bass Boost on and off. LLProducing low frequencies at high volumes can be demanding for audio equipment. If you experience audio clipping when Bass Boost is turned on, lower the volume gradually. Set the FUNCTION switch [3] to one of the function positions (e.g., CD/MP3/USB/AUX, RADIO). LLTo change between CD and USB modes, press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE/USB key [17] while the FUNCTION switch [3] is set to CD/MP3/USB/AUX. Using the Radio Set the FUNCTION switch [3] to the RADIO position to start using the radio. 1. Select a frequency band. Set the BAND switch [9] to the AM, FM, or FM ST. position.
