19. Switch Stacks 19 This chapter describes the concepts and recommended operating procedures to manage NETGEAR stackable managed switches running release 4.x.x.x or newer. You cannot manage stack members on an individual basis. To access the stack master, use either a serial connection to the switch master's console port, or a Telnet connection to the IP address of the stack. You can use these methods to manage switch stacks: • Web Management Interface. • CLI (over a serial connection). • A network management application through SNMP. Chapter 19. Switch Stacks | 349
