ReadyDATA OS 1.4 5. You can verify that the ReadyDATA runs the new firmware by selecting System > Overview > Hardware. The Dashboard home screen displays. The firmware version is listed in the Firmware field. Update Firmware Locally If the ReadyDATA is installed at a location that does not have Internet access, you need to update your firmware locally.  To update firmware locally: 1. Using a computer that has Internet access, download the latest firmware for the ReadyDATA from http://downloadcenter.netgear.com/ to a USB drive or connected computer. 2. Connect the USB drive with the updated firmware file to your ReadyDATA. For more information about the USB ports on the ReadyDATA, see the ReadyDATA Hardware Manual. 3.
