ReadyNAS OS 6.4 To create a synched backup of your computer on your ReadyNAS: 1. Sign in to the ReadyCLOUD portal using your ReadyCLOUD credentials. 2. Double-click the Get the ReadyCLOUD App for Backup and Sync icon. Note The Get the ReadyCLOUD App for Backup and Sync icon does not appear immediately after signing in. ReadyCLOUD checks if the app is already installed before displaying the icon. 3. Click the Download ReadyCLOUD App button. The ReadyCLOUDSetup.exe file name displays at the bottom of your browser window. 4. Click the ReadyCLOUDSetup.exe file. 5. Follow the ReadyCLOUD Setup Wizard steps to install the app. The ReadyCLOUD app window opens. The app opens a connection directly between your computer and your ReadyNAS system. If the ReadyNAS system is not on the same local network as your computer, the connection Backup and Recovery 233
