❚❚ FUNC. Button+Dials Selecting [FUNC. button+dials] for Custom Setting f4 displays the following options: Option Description Choose The Fn button and main command dial can be used i image area (FX/DX/5:4) to select the image area from FX, DX, and 5 : 4 (pg. 60). The image area can not be changed while (default) shooting a multiple exposure (pg. 206). Choose m image area (FX/DX) The Fn button and main command dial can be used to switch between FX and DX image areas. The image area can not be changed while shooting a multiple exposure. If the Fn button is pressed when the command dials are rotated, changes to shutter speed (exposure v 1 step spd/ aperture modes f and h) and aperture (exposure modes g and h) are made in increments of 1 EV, regardless of the option selected for Custom Setting b2 ([EV steps for exposure cntrl.], pg. 314). Choose non- Press the Fn button and rotate a command dial to w CPU lens choose a lens number specified using the [Non-CPU number lens data] option (pg. 218). x Focus pointselection Press the Fn button and rotate the command dials for vertical shooting to choose a focus point (pg. 337). n Shooting menu bank If this option is selected, the shooting menu bank can be selected by pressing the Fn button and rotating a command dial. When I (dynamic-area AF) is selected in focus mode C (continuous-servo autofocus), the number of focus points (pg. 307) can be selected by pressing z Dynamic AF area the Fn button and rotating a command dial. The focus points used for dynamic-area AF are displayed U in the viewfinder while the Fn button is pressed; if [51 points (3D-tracking)] is selected, "3D" will be displayed in the viewfinder. None No operation is performed when the command dials are rotated while the Fn button is pressed. 336
