Advanced Camera Settings - The Playback Menu Copy L You can copy selected pictures (P.90) or all pictures COPY from the internal memory to the memory card, or vice versa. Exit OK CAMERA TO CARD Selected images All images Exit OK MNO Copies pictures stored in the internal memory to the memory card. ONM Copies pictures stored on the memory card to the internal memory. Notes on Copying Pictures • If there is not enough space in the destination memory, copying is canceled and an error message is displayed. • The available file formats for copying are JPEG, MOV and WAV. You cannot copy pictures in other file formats. • You cannot copy the pictures taken with another make of camera or retouched on a computer. File Name • When copying using Selected images, the newly copied pictures are numbered consecutively from the largest number existing between the two memory sources. Ex: When the last number in the source memory is 32 (DSCN0032.JPG) and the last number in the destination memory is 18 (DSCN0018.JPG), the copied pictures are assigned numbers starting from 33 (DSCN0033). • When copying using All images, all folders in the internal memory or on the memory card are copied. The newly copied folders are assigned new folder numbers (one is added to the highest folder number in the destination memory). If a new folder cannot be created, copying is canceled and an error message is displayed. Print Set, Transfer Marking, and Protect If pictures are set with Print set (P.72) or Transfer marking (P.95), the settings are not copied. Protect setting (P.94) can be copied and the copied picture is protected. 97
