B Notes About Image Editing • Images captured at an Image mode (E24) setting of g 4608×2592 cannot be edited. • This camera cannot edit images captured with another make or model of digital camera. • If no people's faces are detected in an image, a copy cannot be created using the skin softening function (E8). • When using another make or model of digital camera, images edited with this camera may not be displayed properly and may not be able to be transferred to a computer. • Editing functions are not available when there is not enough free space in the internal memory or on the memory card. C Restrictions on Image Editing When an edited copy is further modified with another editing function, check the following restrictions. Editing function used D-Lighting Skin softening Small picture Crop Editing functions that can be added The skin softening, small picture, or crop function can be added. The D-Lighting, small picture, or crop function can be added. Another editing function cannot be added. • Copies created with editing functions cannot be further edited with the same function used to create them. • When combining the small picture or crop function and another editing function, use the small picture and crop functions after other editing functions have been applied. • You can apply skin softening to images that were captured using skin softening (E32). C Original and Edited Images • Copies created with editing functions are not deleted if the original images are deleted. The original images are not deleted if copies created with editing functions are deleted. • Edited copies are saved with the same shooting date and time as the original. • Print order (E34) and protect settings (E38) do not remain effective in edited copies.
