Display Cause/Solution A Raise the flash. The flash is lowered. Raise the flash when shooting in Night portrait or Backlighting (when HDR is set to k) scene mode. 33, 35, 44 Lens error The lens cap may be attached, or a lens error occurred. Make sure that the lens cap has been removed, and turn the camera off and then on again. If the error persists, contact 4, 20 your retailer or Nikon-authorized service representative. Communications error An error occurred while communicating with the printer. Turn the camera off and reconnect the USB cable. E19 System error An error occurred in the camera's internal circuitry. Turn the camera off, remove and reinsert the batteries, and turn the camera on. If the error persists, contact your retailer or Nikon-authorized service representative. 12, 20 Printer error: check printer status.
