Connecting to Televisions, Computers and Printers Connecting to a Computer Use the supplied USB cable to connect the camera to a computer and copy (transfer) images to the computer. Before Connecting the Camera Install the Software Use the supplied ViewNX 2 CD and install the following software on the computer. • ViewNX 2: Use the image transfer feature "Nikon Transfer 2" to save images that were captured with the camera on the computer. Saved images can be viewed and printed. Image and movie editing features are also supported. • Panorama Maker 5: This software can join a series of images to create a single panorama image. For more information on installing the software, refer to the Quick Start Guide. B Notes on Power Source • When connecting the camera to a computer to transfer images, use a fully charged battery to prevent the camera from turning off unexpectedly. • If the AC Adapter EH-5a and the Power Connector EP-5A (available separately) are used, COOLPIX P7000 can be powered from an electrical outlet. Do not, under any circumstances, use an AC Adapter other than the EH-5a or a Power Connector other than the EP-5A. 156

Connecting to a Computer
Use the supplied USB cable to connect the camera to a computer and copy

Before Connecting the Camera
Install the Software
Use the supplied ViewNX 2 CD and install the following software on the computer.
