Adjust Camera Settings This tutorial describes how to take photos at default settings. 1 Check camera settings. Exposure mode Image size s Image quality White balance Control panel ISO sensitivity Viewfinder display Default settings are listed below. Option Default Description Page Image quality NORM Record JPEG images at a compression ratio (JPEG of roughly 1 : 8 (Size priority selected for 64 normal) JPEG compression). Ideal for snapshots. Image size L (Large) FX format images are 4,256 × 2,832 pixels in size. 69 ISO sensitivity 200 ISO sensitivity (digital equivalent of film speed) set to ISO 200. 106 White balance v (Auto) White balance is adjusted automatically for natural colors under most types of lighting. 140 Exposure mode e (Programmed auto) Camera automatically adjusts shutter speed and aperture for optimal exposure in most situations. 114 Center Focus focus point point (single- 76 point AF) Focus point Viewfinder focus point display is shown above.
