EnI ISO film speed setting Usable film speed range for DX-coded film is ISO 50 to 2500. With ISO 50, 100, 200, 400, 800 and 1600 films, the camera is automatically set to the exact film speed. Important! • For best results, use only DX-coded film. • When non-DX-coded film is used, ISO film speed is automatically set to 100. • If you're shooting with color slide film, use only those with the ISO film speed rating 50, 100, 200, 400, 800 or 1600. 37 38 BASIC SHOOTING GUIDE En HOLD THE CAMERA PROPERLY Remember a picture may be spoiled by even slight camera shake, no matter what high-tech functions you're using. So always hold your camera steady when taking pictures. Hold the camera firmly: Prop the elbow of the hand holding the camera against your body, then hold the camera with both hands to avoid camera shake.
