The MH-53 is used to re- charge Nikon EN-EL1 rechargeable lithium- ion batteries. For customers in the U.S.A. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Radio Frequency Interference Statement This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable pro- ˙ -JJPO tection against harmful interference in a residential installation. Do not attempt to recharge any other batteries with the MH-53. 7 Before use, read the warnings and other infor- %$7N" mation in this manual and in the documentation - J J P O for your Nikon EN-EL1 rechargeable battery. ࣌ؒ • Do not connect the product to any device ʙʴ ˆ not specifically referred to in this manual. ੇ๏ɿ NN NNʢԞ • Remove the power cable from the power ߦ͖ʣʷ NNʢߴ͞ʣ outlet when not in use. NN H Precautions for Use of the Nikon EN-EL1 Rechargeable Li-ion Battery • The battery is not fully charged at the factory. Charge the battery before use. • When recharging the battery, the ambient temperature should be between 0-40°C (32-104°F) or the battery may not fully charge or may not function properly. • When recharging, the ambient temperature should be in the vicinity of 5-35ºC (41-95ºF). • The internal temperature of the battery may rise while the battery is in use. If you attempt to recharge the battery while the internal temperature is elevated, the battery will not charge or will charge only partially. The battery may also not function properly. Wait for the battery to cool before charging. • Do not attempt to recharge a fully-charged battery. Failure to observe this precaution will result in reduced battery performance. • Should you notice smoke or an unusual smell coming from the charger, unplug it, taking care to avoid burns. Take the charger to a Nikon-authorized service center for inspection. • The external appearance of the EN-EL1 may differ slightly from the illustration. Recharging the Nikon EN-EL1 Rechargeable Li-ion Batteries (Figure 2) 1 Plug the power cable into the battery charger (Figure 2-a). 2 Plug the power cable into a power outlet. The CHARGE lamp will start to glow. 3 Place the Nikon EN-EL1 battery in the bat- tery bay. The CHARGE lamp will start to blink. Charging is complete when the CHARGE lamp continues to glow (Figure 2-b). 4 Once charging is complete, remove the EN-EL1 (Figure 2-c) and unplug the power cable from the power source. Nutzungshinweise ✔ WICHTIG Der Nikon MH-53 ist nur zum Aufladen von Original-Nikon-Lithium-Ionen-Akkus mit der Typenbezeichnung EN-EL1 bestimmt. Versuchen Sie niemals andere Akkutypen mit dem MH-53 aufzuladen. • Vor der Inbetriebnahme lesen Sie bitte diese Anleitung, die Sicherheitshinweise und die Dokumentation zum Lithium-Ionen-Akku EN-EL1 aufmerksam. • Schließen Sie den Netzadapter nur an Geräte an die in dieser Anleitung ausdrücklich genannt sind. • Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel aus der Steckdose wenn Sie den Netzadapter/das Ladegerät nicht benutzen. Hinweise für die Verwendung des wiederaufladbaren Lithium-IonenAkkus EN-EL1 • Die Batterie wird fabrikmäßig nicht vollständig aufgeladen. Bitte die Batterie vor Einsatz aufladen. • Die Raumtemperatur sollte während des Aufladens der Batterie zwischen 0 - 40 °C liegen, da sich die Batterie sonst nicht vollständig auflädt oder nicht ordnungsgemäß funktioniert. • Beim Aufladen des Akkus sollte die Umgebungstemperatur zwischen +5 °C und +35 °C liegen. • Die Innentemperatur der Batterie kann während des Einsatzes ansteigen. Bitte die Batterie nicht bei erhöhter Innentemperatur derselben aufladen, da sie sich in diesem Fall nicht oder nur teilweise aufladen lässt, oder nicht ordnungsgemäß funktioniert. Die Batterie nur aufladen, nachdem sie abgekühlt ist. • Laden Sie keinen Akku auf der bereits vollständig aufgeladen ist. Ein Überladen kann die Leistung des Akkus mindern. • Den Stecker des Ladegeräts herausziehen, sollte aus ihm Rauch oder ein ungewöhnlicher Geruch austreten, um Verbrennungen zu vermeiden. Das Ladegerät zu einem von Nikon autorisierten Kundendienstzentrum zur Prüfung bringen. • Je nach Kaufregion kann das EN-EL1 im Design von der in der Illustration. Sobald die Kontrollleuchte CHARGE konstant leuchtet, ist der Ladevorgang beendet (Abbildung 2-b). 4 Wenn der Ladevorgang beendet ist, neh- men Sie den Akku aus dem Ladefach (Abbildung 2-c) und ziehen das Netzkabel aus der Steckdose. Hinweise zum Status des Batterieladegerätes Lampe des Nikon CHARGE EN-ELI Beschreibung Leuchtet Nicht eingelegt Das Ladegerät ist angeschlossen. Wiederaufladbare ENELI - Batterie einlegen. Blinkt Eingelegt Die Batterie wird aufgeladen. Leuchtet Eingelegt Die Batterie ist vollständig aufgeladen. Die Batterie dem MH53 wie weiter oben beschrieben entnehmen. Flimmert Eingelegt Die Betriebstemperatur ist außerhalb des zulässigen Bereichs. Verwenden Sie das Ladegerät nur im ausgewiesenen zulässigen Temperaturbereich. EN-ELI versagte. * Den Ladevorgang umgehend unterbrechen, und den Stecker des Ladegeräts herausziehen. * Bringen Sie Netzadapter und Akku zur Überprüfung zu Ihrem Fachhändler oder zu einer autorisierten Nikon Vertragswerkstatt.
