Basic use 4. Basic use ■ Make or end a call To make a call from your mobile device that is connected to the speakerphone, use the device in the normal way. Speak towards the speakerphone. For optimal performance, check that there are no objects in front of the microphone and that the microphone is in front of you. To redial the number you last called (if your device supports this feature with the speakerphone), press the answer/end key twice when no call is in progress. To activate voice dialling (if your device supports this feature with the speakerphone), press and hold the answer/end key for about 2 seconds when no call is in progress. Proceed as described in the user guide of your device. To end a call or cancel a call attempt, press the answer/end key. ■ Answer or reject a call When you receive a call, you hear a ringing tone through the speakerphone and the green indicator light flashes quickly. To answer the call, press the answer/end key. To reject the call, press the answer/end key twice. ■ Adjust volume To increase the speakerphone volume during a call, turn the volume wheel right. To decrease the volume, turn the wheel left. Warning: Do not hold the device near your ear when the loudspeaker is in use, because the volume may be extremely loud. ■ Switch a call to the connected device To switch a call from the speakerphone to the connected device, switch off the speakerphone, or press and hold the answer/end key for about 2 seconds. 14
