IP260/IP265) provides optional storage media for the Nokia VPN appliances. Refer to Figure 4 for placement of tamper seals over the Flash memory bays when configuring the module in Approved mode. To apply the serialized seal 1. For the given module chassis type from Section 2.2 (e.g., 1U, 2U), apply one or more tamper seals to the module chassis at the front, top, or rear of the module as indicated in the figures below. 2. Affix one or more tamper seals to the PCMCIA slots as shown in Figure 4 depending on whether or not Flash cards are installed. 3. Record the serial number of the applied seal(s) in a security log. 4. Allow 24 hours for the adhesive in the tamper-evident seal(s) to completely cure.
