CONSOLE DIAGRAM FEATURES OF THE CONSOLE The treadmill console offers an impressive array of features designed to make your workouts more effective and enjoyable. The console features revolutionary iFit technology that enables the treadmill to communicate with your wireless network. With iFit technology, you can download personalized workouts, create your own workouts, track your workout results, and access many other features. See www.iFit.com for complete information. In addition, the console features a selection of onboard workouts, including at least eight calorie workouts, eight intensity workouts, eight speed workouts, eight incline workouts, and six iFit demo workouts. Each workout automatically controls the speed and incline of the treadmill as it guides you through an effective exercise session. In addition, you can set a calorie, time, distance, or pace goal. When you use the manual mode, you can change the speed and incline of the treadmill with the touch of a button. As you exercise, the console will display instant exercise feedback. You can also measure your heart rate using the handgrip heart rate monitor or the chest heart rate monitor. You can even browse the Internet or listen to your favorite workout music or audio books with the console's stereo sound system or watch a movie or television program on the attached TV while you exercise. To turn on the power, see page 23. To learn how to use the touch screen, see page 23. To set up the console, see page 24. Note: The console can display speed and distance in either miles or kilometers. To find which unit of measurement is selected, see step 4 on page 30. For simplicity, all instructions in this section refer to miles. 22
