If the battery drains quickly: Turn down the volume level on the tablet. Navigate to tablet settings: Apps Menu button > Settings > Display. Then, set the brightness of the display to a lower level and set the sleep time to a shorter interval. If the tablet does not read the memory card: Turn off the power, remove the memory card and reinsert it, and then turn on the power again.
