4. Select whether the port emulation starts automatically, or must be manually started. Note If you set the Startup Timing to Automatic, the port emulation will start automatically when the system starts up. This is the more commonly used setting. If you choose Automatic, you should then click the Start button to start the emulation. You will not need to click the Start button again, as the emulator will subsequently start automatically. If you set the Startup Timing to Manual, you will need to click the Start button to start the emulation before using it. Deleting a Virtual Port 1. Select the virtual port in the list, and then click Delete. 2. A confirmation dialog appears. To complete the deletion, click Yes. Checking a Port 1. Click the Check Health button.
